MANLY – FOR EVERY TAST

More than eight million visitors a year arrive in Manly to enjoy the natural attractions, the unique location between ocean and harbour and the growing notoriety of its many restaurants.

With a smorgasbord of over 100 cafes, restaurants, bars and eateries, it’s the international menu selection, award winning seafood and leading number of alfresco venues that makes Manly so popular for dining and entertainment.

“From African cuisine at Out of Africa to the best Indian at Sahib’s and The Indian Pearl; Three Ducks and Chat Thai for Asian, it’s an international flight for your taste buds and the chance to ‘visit’ a different country with each meal”, says Karen Sainsbury, President of the Manly Chamber of Commerce.

“Growth in the dining and entertainment sector for Manly continues to increase in line with our buoyant visitor numbers. With few closures, award winning venues like The Shore Club and newcomers like Garfish and Hugo’s recognising Manly as an essential dining destination, we’re clearly on the Sydney menu of ‘hot’ spots.”

Arriving by Sydney Ferry or car (easily parked in the 1100 undercover parking spaces available), Manly’s dining scene is enjoyed every day of the year, including Christmas Day.

From innovative fine dining seafood to pub lunches, beach bars and café style favourites to fish and chips and ice cream cones on the beach, Manly’s reputation as a destination for all tastes is one that is celebrated daily by local Sydneysiders and visitors alike.
