Bazaar Kids Gifts and Toys welcomes Christmas to Newport

After the inaugural launch in October which was wonderfully received by local families and businesses, Bazaar Kids Gifts and Toys is back with their Christmas Bazaar in the grounds of Newport Community Centre, within the beautifully landscaped Spurway Park.

Bazaar Kids Gifts and Toys is a family day out packed with a brilliant selection of kids’ activities including: a tennis court sized obstacle course by Ready Steady Go Kids, kids acro yoga from Flying Yogis, a preloved toy sale by kids for kids, face painting and craft corner.

There are stalls for parents with a focus on supporting local business including: Essence and Wisdom, My Friend Fred, Young Folk Store, and Fletcher and Crank. Caffeine fixes will be available too with Northern Beaches “No Label” serving coffee. As it is the festive season there will be lots of wooden toys, gifts and clothing on offer to shop for that last minute gift before Christmas.

Launched by local mum and blogger, Lizzie Wall, Bazaar Kids Gifts and Toys curates and collects the best in local, creative and handmade talent. Lizzie launched the event following the success of her kids blog, Kids Gifts and Toys.

Lizzie said, ”I have lived in England and Germany for a number of years and was inspired by the myriad of outdoor kids’ activities and local flea markets catering to families and children. I wanted to bring this idea back home, support local businesses in the area and provide children with a fun day out, where they can meet other kids and feel part of the thriving, creative Northern Beaches community.”

Held four times a year, the Bazaar is THE event for creative families in the area.
