Help Keep Kids Safe this National Kidsafe Day, Tuesday 25 October 2016
As part of national Children’s Week (23 October – 29 October) and to celebrate National Kidsafe Day we are seeking community support to help educate parents, carers, and children about safety on and around our roads.
National Kidsafe Day is on Tuesday 25 October, 2016.
Children are very vulnerable when it comes to our roads and even driveways.
Kidsafe, in conjunction with Ice Age Collision Course, are focusing on three important messages:
- Message 1 – Safe Cross Code: Stop, Look, Listen and Think!
- Message 2 – Wear a Helmet: Use your head, don’t lose it!
- Message 3 – Seatbelt Safety: Buckle up! It’s going to be a bumpy ride.
The Kidsafe and Ice Age Collision Course Road Safety Resources are designed to raise awareness about safe behaviour around roads. Kids will love the Ice Age activity sheets.
Parents, carers and educators can use the information sheets and posters to support our very important road safety messages.
Thank you for your help in supporting National Kidsafe Day by sharing this information with the families that make up your community. With your support we can work together to make a safer world for kids!
