The NSW State Government recently launched the FuelCheck website, allowing motorists to check fuel prices in real time.

The new website is available on any device connected to the internet.

Please check the fuel prices before you are on the move!

The FuelCheck website publishes fuel prices live, with services stations required to update their prices on the website as soon as they make a change at the bowser.

Motorists can search for the cheapest price by location, fuel type or brand.

FuelCheck is a game changer, intended to boost competition and transparency in the fuel sector.

NSW Petrol Stations are already regulated with regard to how they can display pricing on their roadside signage, and the new website extends their obligation to this digital platform.

If consumers visit a petrol station where the price at the pump does not match the price on FuelCheck they can make a complaint directly to NSW Fair Trading.

FuelCheck is currently in beta varions and consumers are encouraged to provide feedback about the accuracy and functionality of the website to NSW Fair Trading.
