Manly Beach
Manly BeachManly Beach is a world famous Australian landmark. It is one of the most renowned beaches for surfing.
The beach was named by Capt. Arthur Phillip after the indigenous people living there writing: "Their confidence and manly behaviour made me give the name of Manly Cove to this place".
Manly was one of the first seaside resorts to allow daylight swimming and surfing back in 1903.
Manly Beach is easily accessible via a short 30 minute Ferry ride from Sydney's Circular Quay, followed by a casual stroll along the Manly Corso.
Build up your appetite in the surf and then enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner in one of Manly's many restaurants and cafés.
