Curl Curl & North Curl Curl

The name Curl Curl originated from an Aboriginal name Curial Curial meaning river of life.

Curl Curl - North Curl Curl is bounded by Headland Road in the north and the Tasman Sea in the east.  

Curl Curl features the South Pacific Private Hospital, Curl Curl Lagoon, ‘postcard’ lookouts including Rulingia Lookout and Tea Tree Lookout, great family picnic areas and parks including John Fisher Park and Weldon Park.

Curl Curl features two picturesque beaches; North Curl Curl Beach and South Curl Curl Beach. North Curl Curl also includes an ocean swimming pool.

The northern part of the beach has a lagoon, which flows to the sea. North Curl Curl offers good swimming and body boarding conditions, particularly in front of, and south of the lagoon. The beautiful south end of Curl Curl is popular, with a child-friendly ocean swimming pool and cafe.

Curl Curl is located on the Northern Beaches approx. 18 km north of Sydney's CBD.
