Following a sold out Sydney season, pub theatre company Bar'd Work are back for season 2 with the famous comedy Twelfth Night in Sydney as part of the inaugural Shakesbeer Sessions . Expect fast, funny and irreverent 90-minute Shakespeare, performed in a selection of Sydney’s most iconic pub venues.

The Rising Tide of Krav Maga
The roots of Krav Maga first took hold in the late 1930’s in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia by a young man named Imi Lichtenfeld. Imi was a natural athlete, holding European championship titles in a variety of sports, including boxing, wrestling, and gymnastics. It was from his father, however, a famous and highly respected police detective and trainer, that Imi learned street ?ghting skills that he would use to save his own life and those of his neighbors on the rough streets of Eastern Europe.

Hidden in the heart of Manly, The Cumberland, an underground speakeasy with a Spanish twist, will unlock its doors this August. The trick is to find them. The prohibition inspired drinking den will be accessed via an inconspicuous 1920s fridge door that winds its way down a spiral staircase and into a basement bar, designed to transport patrons into another time and place.
