Miss Devine and Oh So Fine for the Diggers New Cocktail Lounge

Much like the James Bond films from which it was inspired, the new Miss Devine cocktail lounge has opened with a bang inside Harbord Diggers.

A secluded and fashionable space, the Miss Devine cocktail lounge offers a wide variety of unique house cocktail creations alongside beer, wine and spirits that will perfectly complement the dining experience at the state-of-the-art Diggers precinct.

The new bar joins AquaFresca by Pilu, Teddy Larkin’s Seafood and Steakhouse and DD Collective café as part of the progressive roll out of new offerings at the Freshwater establishment, with Stage 2 of the development currently under construction.

Michael Phillips, General Manager of Harbord Diggers said that since opening the doors of the new venue in June last year, guests have shown their huge interest in a child-free bar that caters to those looking for a relaxed location with a focus on great beverages.

“The opening of this cocktail lounge is a particularly exciting time for Harbord Diggers,” he said.

“We’ve listened to our members and guests about how we can improve the options we offer within the club and Miss Devine is a product of the feedback we have received.

“Tilly Devine, who the lounge is named after, was one of Sydney’s most successful criminal entrepreneurs in the 1920s and 30s with the media dubbing her the ‘Worst Woman in Sydney’.

“We hope the inspiration of the ‘Worst Woman in Sydney’ can help us make this the best cocktail bar on the Northern Beaches,” he explained.

Similar to its namesake, the cocktails to expect at the new lounge are nothing short of familiar. Take ‘The Pavlova’ a mix of 42 Below vodka, De Kuyper apricot brandy, chartreuse, lemon and grapefruit bitters or the ‘Good Time Gal’ a combination of vodka, Yoshinogawa Jensen Umeshu sake, cranberry and peach.

Miss Devine is officially open in Harbord Diggers, with the bar trading from 5pm til late Wednesday to Friday and from midday til late on weekends.
