Set Your Taste Buds Wild at Taste of the Beaches
The event now in its second year will be held on Sunday 19 August (11am-5pm) at Winnererremy Bay (also known as Flying Fox Park) Mona Street, Mona Vale.
On offer will be a selection of foods from some of the Northern Beaches’ finest local restaurants and cafes and complimented by wines from the Mudgee region and local craft beer brewers.
Northern beaches Mayor Michael Regan said this boutique festival is one not to be missed.
“Mark the end of winter by getting outdoors and enjoy this amazing family-friendly afternoon with mouth-watering food and renowned beer and wine merchants.
“Bring a picnic rug and soak up one of the most picturesque settings on the Northern Beaches and enjoy the free entertainment on offer including live music and kids activities.
“The hardest decision you’ll have is choosing what to try – so why not try a bit of everything!” Mayor Regan said.
We are delighted to be partnering with the Mudgee Wine Region - the third largest grape-growing region in NSW and one of the oldest wine regions in the state. Visitors will be able to meet wine-makers and participate in tastings by purchasing a Tasting Glass and tokens on the day.
They’ll also be a selection of international cuisine on offer including dumplings, gourmet burgers, paella and sweet treats.
Kids will not be short of activities to do with KidzKlub setting up a Kids Activity Zone which includes art and craft workshops, a photo booth, giant board games, face painting and an active area with skipping ropes, stilts, hoop games and much more! .
If you want to kick back and have a few beverages, then we have transport covered as well.
“Be responsible and don’t drink and drive – it’s not worth the risk. Leave the car at home and take advantage of complimentary shuttle we have between 11am and 5.30pm,” Mayor Regan said.
The bus will do loops from the Corner of Bungan Lane and Pittwater Road, Mona Vale to the Bay.
