Tennis NSW Team Up with Social Serve to Deliver First Class Tennis Experiences for Adults
Social Serve will work with Tennis NSW to deliver social tennis events throughout Sydney to showcase what the community can expect to see on tennis courts in 2020.
The partnership event will launch on Saturday November 23 at Manly Lawn Tennis Club with a social tennis event.
Tennis NSW CEO Lawrence Robertson says the partnership is a big win for local Sydney siders.
“From the first moment I met Iain and the Social Serve team, I’ve been impressed with the energy and imagination they have brought to redefining tennis.
They have skilfully found a way to combine the social, off-court aspect of tennis that we all love with fun formats on court that cater to all abilities.
Our research has shown that there are almost 5m Australians who are interested in returning to or starting tennis for the first time but don’t believe our more traditional clubs provide the product or experience they are seeking, our partnership with Social Service is intended to help bring the very type of experience this group are looking to to reconnect with and build a love of the sport either once again or for the very first time”, Robertson said.
Social Serve Managing Director Iain Michael Boyd added, “At Social Serve we combine cocktails with DJ beats, gourmet eats and a giant slice of social tennis. Have a hit-n-giggle, go hard or chill on the sidelines and enjoy all the action with a drink in hand - anything goes at our events.
We are delighted to partner with Tennis NSW and help expand social tennis across the state this year. Bring on those tennis good times”.
Tennis NSW and Social Serve are encouraging all local tennis enthusiasts to attend the launch and get a taste of what is to come for the upcoming summer of tennis.
