Northern Beaches Transport Options

Manly is the gateway to the scenic beauty of the Northern Beaches. Today, a trip to Sydney is not complete without an excursion to Sydney's famous Northern Beaches, that is why Manly and the Northern Beaches continue to attract more then 8 million visitors per year.  People travel from all over Australia and the world, drawn by the many natural attractions, restaurants, shops and cultural events.

"7  Miles from Sydney and 1000 miles from care" - This was the slogan used by the Port Jackson & Manly Steamship Company in 1940 to describe Manly “Australia’s Premier Seaside Resort”.

The best way to explore the Northern beaches via public transport is to jump on a bus from Manly Wharf and enjoy the short trip to one of our many seaside destinations.
